SIMON CHARLIER

So. This is me. I’m Simon. By day a mechanic and around that I’m a photographer. I started out in photography about 10 years ago taking my first camera out and taking pictures of anything I could. Then it escalated. I soon realised I loved to produce beautiful pictures of not just anything, I wanted to shoot people.

So, I started small and now working my way up. I’ve now shot quite a lot of weddings as these for me are the best days of every year. I’m not like many photographers that dislike shooting weddings. I LOVE THEM!! Every moment. Bridal prep right through to the late hours I love them all. There is no greater feeling to me than being able to be invited to be such an important part of a couples greatest day together and produce an album that they can treasure forever.

My mission is to capture and celebrate the special moments in your life, from the quiet ones that go on daily to the big, the emotional, the important moments that change your life forever and everything in between.

So I worked my way up the corporate ladder in an Insurance company from the humble beginnings as a Customer Service Agent right up to Customer Service Director. Loved it. Loved the people. Loved watching people grow. But still felt a very big creative hole in my life. I was at the height of my career and it was definetely a reckless choice to give it all up. But I had to know I could do it myself and it wasn't just circumstance and luck that had got me there. And of course be doing what I love the most, creating! :)

I feel that my background plays a big part in my understanding of business and delivering what is needed for successful results. So coupled with my creativity, Branding Photography & Design seemed like a no brainer!

My creativity is more than a passion, its a beast that needs constant nourishment! Creating beautiful content is what I live for and now I get to do it every day with my best friend and partner in crime :) #lifegoals
